For the Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme in South Africa, Han University of Applied Science offers one Orange Tulip Scholarship for the bachelor’s programme.

Located in the historic eastern Dutch cities Arnhem and Nijmegen, the campuses of HAN University of Applied Sciences offer outstanding professional courses to over 33,000 students. Orange Tulip Scholarship

  • OTS is available for a bachelor’s program in the abovementioned courses (i.e. Bachelor’s in English)
  • Benefits: €5,000 for the first year and (with sufficient credits) €2,500 for year 2,3, and 4
  • Duration of the scholarship: First year of the programme (depending on the study results, €2,500 for year 2,3, and 4)
  • Application deadline: 1 April 2019

Admission requirements

  • High school diploma
  • IELTS 6.5
  • No working experience required

Additional requirements

  • A motivational letter in which you explain will explain why you a successful HAN student
  • A short video of yourself of max. 3 minutes in which you address the following questions:
    1. Describe yourself and the areas in which you consider yourself to excel.
    2. If your former teaches or your friends would tell us about you what would they say?
    3. Tell us about your chosen study course at the HAN.
    4. If working in a team, based on your personal experience, what role would you have and why?
