For the Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme in South Africa, the Hanze University of Applied Sciences offers 2 Orange Tulip Scholarships. 1 for their Master of Business Administration (MBA) and 1 for their Master International Business Management (MIBM).

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) you learn to integrate the main business processes of organisations into effective and efficient corporate strategy. In addition, you learn to deal with the diverse and sometimes diverging interests of various stakeholders involved in international business.

The programme focuses on (strategic) leadership and management in a (inter)national business context, shaping new economic realities that focus on purpose. The MBA helps professionals to lead with integrity and in compliance with the principles of good corporate governance.

The MBA requires a minimum of three years of relevant work experience and prepares professionals to be leaders for a sustainable society and purposeful economy. Work experience is required for this programme as this greatly contributes to the content of the study.

During the master, you learn to find ways to add value to your work experience. Moreover, the different work backgrounds of your classmates add value to the classes and make for a unique environment through which you can expand your horizon.

The tuition fee for the MBA programme is €20.000. The programme starts in September and has duration of 18 months. Graduates of the MBA programme are awarded an internationally recognised MBA degree worth 90 ECTS, accredited by the NVAO (Dutch and Flemish Accreditation Organisation.

  • Benefits: € 3000 towards tuition fee
  • Duration of the scholarship: Entire duration of the programme (18 months) 
  • TOEFL iBT: Min. score: 90
  • IELTS: Min. score: 6.5
  • The candidate needs at least 3 years of working experience in a relevant field.
  • Application deadline: 1 April 2020

Additional requirements

  • Two reference letters, a letter of motivation in English, an up-to-date CV, valid international passport.
  • An interview is part of the admission procedure.

 

2. Master International Business Management (MIBM)

In the MIBM programme you learn to solve international business issues from the boardroom perspective of an existing company, with significant practical and professional orientation towards international business. The programme truly applies professional knowledge and skills into practice. You will be working together with students and faculty from all over the world.

On top of this, the MIBM offers you the opportunity to obtain a double degree, allowing you to study for one third of the programme at the Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in Cambridge, United Kingdom. After completing the Double Degree programme, you will receive two officially recognised international master's diplomas: 

Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen 

Master of Science in International Business (MSc) from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge
